The length of the neutral line of every bend radii can be calculated separately with different methods. You can choose the most suitable one from eight different calculation methods. COPRA will not only check every bending zone and give reports on the possible problem elements automatically, such as element with inner radius of 0, but also suggest the best calculation method for the respective elements. DESIGN OF THE FLOWER PATTERN The COPRA flower module provides professional possibilities for creating the flower pattern. Five different calibration methods tailored to designer’s needs as well as functions as for folding and unfolding (either manually or automatically) will assist in improving quality and reduce the time required for the design process. Different shapes can be combined to new designs, the strip thickness can be modified over all phases – even if the flower has been designed – and bending sequences can be customized according to the designer’s needs. These features are just a few of the possibilities that COPRA provides. 3D STRAIN ANALYSIS The COPRA professional section design bundle also contains the 3D wire frame strain analysis software. This calculation software is much more accurate than the so-called strip edge strain calculation, which has been used in the past.
